Zagg, creators of one of the strongest gadget protecting covers, InvisibleSHEILD, has announced the world-wide release of ZAGGskins. These new protectors combine the strength and awesomeness of the InvisibleSHEILD along with high-resolution graphics to really spice up the way your BlackBerry looks.
Zagg has dozens of designs to chose from, but if you can't find the right one to express yourself, you can upload your own design! The ZAGGskins are available for select Curve models, Tour, Storm1, Pearl, Bold, and newly released devices will be available soon. Get more info here.
We showed you a leaked image of the Stratus or Pearl 9100 many months ago. Now, Sal got his hands on a beautiful looking 3G BlackBerry Pearl 9100. It resembles the new BlackBerry Bold 9700, but obviously much smaller and instead of the full QWERTY physical keyboard it's been swapped out for the SureType keyboard.
This candy-bar styled device looks like you could just take a big bite out of it!
Facebook app version 1.7.0.22 has released for all BlackBerry devices. Details on what has been updated are unknown, but most likely only a few minor changes were added. You can grab the new version by going to http://www.blackberry.com/facebook
This is the video that all AT&T stores will begin playing on Saturday November 21st, in preparation for the official release of the BlackBerry Bold 9700 on Sunday November 22nd.
We've just confirmed with our Verizon connect that there will in fact be an OS update for the Tour 9630. Unfortunately, it will not be the anticipated OS 5.0, but OS 4.7.1.61. For some, who are currently using a leaked OS 5.0 version, may view this as pointless. In fact, it is pointless and another reason why we have faith in what we reported about 'vendor id 501' hopefully fixing the delay in OS release time. Nevertheless, this OS should release at 5pm (10pm EST).
All 9700 users already have OS 5.0 running from the start, but this newly leaked OS .351 might be of interest. We are unsure of the changes/updates, but if you are adventurous enough to install it we'd like to know how it runs!

The rumored 'lavender' BlackBerry Curve 8530 from Verizon has been spotted in the wild. Research In Motion seems to be venturing into the 'color' market by slowly offering alternatives to the classic jet-black or gun-metal gray colored devices.
Will colored BlackBerry's be the wave of the future? With the introduction of the 'white' and 'lavender' devices it could suggest RIM is testing the market. You never know, you may see your boss rockin' a hot pink BlackBerry by next year!
¿Habla usted español? T-Mobile does! They recently announced the debut of the T-Mobile Complete, which is a monthly pre-paid feature setup to compete against Cricket and MetroPCS. T-Mobile is offering the 'Complete' package with intent to draw the Hispanic market.
The plan debuts with the BlackBerry Curve 8520, which includes unlimited talk/text/web plan (BIS) for $80/month. Other non-BlackBerry packages range from $50 to $60 per month.

Our good friend at TheUnlockr made a great tutorial on how to unlock your BlackBerry...for free and with an unlock code. With many people wanting to port over the newest released devices, that their own carrier might not have, this tutorial should serve those well. Either watch the video or view the written tutorial, here.
At the current moment you could classify most of what you're about to read as rumors. We're almost certain most of it will come to fruition, or so we're told. Regardless, it appears that Reasearch In Motion is making a concerted effort for the continued success of BlackBerry's. Here's what is said to come in 2010:
Only devices releasing in the EU for 2010: Atlas, Stratus, and Apollo. For more on these devices, click here. (we're unsure as of yet on USA releases, but wouldn't doubt a "Storm Slider" aka Talladega)
BIS 3.0 - which will ultimately go up to version 3.4 (this hasn't yet been mentioned). We are gathering more details on the remaining versions, but for info on version 3.0 to 3.1, click here.
There will be a separate inbox for social networking apps. For example, Facebook notifications will be able to go either in your mailbox (like it does currently) or you can choose to have it go in the new social networking inbox. This will also be for apps like Palringo and Instango.
Wireless syncing of media (photos, video, etc.) using either carrier network or WiFi.
Shortcuts to favorite web pages that can be listed on main screen.
The browser will be upgraded, but not yet to what analysts are predicting for the next Storm device. The browser will include tabs, full flash support, have better java support, and be quicker in load times.
Support for Podcasts and RSS feeds
Evolved EDGE - RIM is apparently working on new device technology (possibly with the radio?) they will be introducing with the BlackBerry Atlas. The new technology is upgrading the transmission speed of the current EDGE network. There will be speeds of up to 1mbps without changing cell-towers. RIM is working with carriers in the EU to upgrade the software that their cell-towers use in order for the new Atlas to work properly. This might not sound like much now, but will be a staggering blow to BlackBerry's competition.
We're very excited about the upcoming year 2010. Things seem to look bright for the direction of BlackBerry's. What we briefly touched on is merely just a glimpse of what is yet to come.
Do you know anything that could be added to the list?
