Have a BlackBerry Pearl 3G 9100 or 9105? You're in luck as Bell Mobility has officially released OS 5.0.0.748! Remember, if you're not on this carrier you will have to delete the vendor.xml file in order for it to load in Desktop Manager.

New Touchscreen BlackBerry 9800 Slated to Launch August 15?

Yesterday, tech site VentureBeat reported that according to BlackBerry Partners Fund’s John Albright, the BlackBerry 9800 (aka the Slider) will hit the market August 15 on AT&T. This device was sort of a mystery to all BB addicts because it was unmarked by a carrier (except in the video where it showed AT&T), had BlackBerry 6 running fully, and even still has no name.

BBM v5.0.1.32 Coming Soon to App World Test Center

App World users be ready for a huge app to hit the Test Center. BlackBerryOS reported BlackBerry Messenger v5.0.1.32 coming to the Center in BlackBerry App World. The version of BBM was just recently released to the BlackBerry Beta Zone, but surprisingly the sudden public release means RIM plans on releasing 5.0.1.32 to the public.
