First Live Images of BlackBerry 6 Running on a Bold 9650


We know there are a lot of people with older BlackBerrys (9650, 9700, and 9100/9105) that are dying to get OS 6.0 on their device. We showed you not long ago a few screen captures of OS 6 on a Bold 9650. Now we have new photos of BlackBerry 6 physically running on a living 9650.

It was not very long ago that the first BlackBerry Torch 9800 was leaked. Now there is OS 6.0.0.141 for those with older prerelease devices and others who would like to make hybrids.

It has been a while since Storm 9530 users have received any love. Luckily today they're getting OS 5.0.0.797! There isn't any word on how it runs or what is new.

First Impressions on the BlackBerry Torch 9800, OS 6.0, and Webkit Browser


After the exclusive press event in NYC, I finally got some hands on time with the BlackBerry Torch 9800. The main two things I needed to know, were 1) what's the webkit browser like? and 2) how does the BlackBerry 6 experience compare to the current OS 5.0 offerings? Also, how does the new form factor feel, is it top heavy?

Google Maps 4.4 Releases with Places for BlackBerry


As predicted, Google Maps has released for the BlackBerry with the places feature. At first only Android users were able to enjoy this feature, but luckily now BlackBerry users can too.

In less than 12 days we will see the Curve 9300 release in the US on Cincinnati Bell. We aren't sure what OS the 9300 will be releasing with. However, here is OS 5.0.0.846 for hybrid builders and soon to be 9300 owners, if the device releases with a lower OS.

We have heard about the Curve 9330 being the CDMA version of the 9300, but still had not seen any evidence of the 9330's existence except for a UAProf doc. Now we have a full blown OS, which is still on platform 4.2, while its brother the 9300 is on platform 6.3.
