It was just a few weeks ago that the rumored Storm2 refresh had been comfirmed to exist. Then news broke that Verizon no longer intended to carry the Storm 9570. However, it may not have been entirely Verizon's doing.

If you're excited about the BlackBerry Bold 9780 refresh, you'll be delighted to know that it is pegged to release on Virgin Mobile in Canada. It is supposed to release on October 21st, which we could also see as the launch date for Telus, Bell, and even Rogers.

Bolt Browser for BlackBerry Gets Updated to v2.3

The Bolt team have been diligently working on their Bolt Browser for BlackBerry in the last year. They have now released v2.3, which includes HMTL 5 support for audio and video and also better Facebook integration.

It isn't quite OS6, yet, but Bold 9700 users now have another new OS5 build to play with. It is a fairly nice step up from the last leaked build (.938). If you've got time you may want to check out OS 5.0.0.979 while you wait for OS6!

If you were one of the daring few that took the jump on the first leaked OS 6 for the BlackBerry Bold 9650, you'll be happy to know there is a newer version out there. A fairly good jump from OS 6.0.0.222, there should be some decent improvements in the new 6.0.0.280!
