Twitter For Blackberry Gets Updated

So it seems that the guys working on the Twitter for BlackBerry application have been working pretty hard to address much of the feedback that they have received.  This update is a jump from version 1.0.0.37 to 1.0.0.40 and adds features such as:
  • Quote Tweets [ability to edit ReTweets]
  • More photo viewing support
  • Personal Info Guard
  • Auto complete for @ usernames [Friend picker]
  • Hotkeys for navigation
  • Go to users
Head on over to www.blackberry.com/twitter to download the update OTA if you haven't done so already.  How many of you are continuing or returning to use Twitter for BB now that it has been updated?

BlackBerry Bold 9650 Available from Sprint

Well everyone can breathe a sigh of relief because the Bold 9650 has finally arrived and is now available for purchase on the Sprint carrier website.  The full retail price is $450, but new customers and those eligible for an upgrade can grab it for $199 on contract with the included instant savings.  We haven't heard whether or not it is available at any Sprint store locations, but how many of you are going to go give this bad boy a try?

BlackBerry Curve 8520 OS 5.0.0.681 Leaked

It is particularly common to see an OS leaked for the Curve 8520 whenever there is a leak for the Bold 9000 or Curve 8900. Today we have OS 5.0.0.681 for your pleasure. If you've got the time, load up this OS and let us know what you think.

BlackBerry Curve 8900 OS 5.0.0.681 Leaked

It is not unusual for the Curve 8900 to receive an OS alongside the Bold 9000. Today we have OS 5.0.0.681 for the 8900. It should be similar with the 9000's version. If you're an 8900 user, it could be worth your while to load up this new OS.

Here is a new OS for the Bold 9000! We were about to leak it just before BerryReview beat us to it hehe. Nevertheless, this is a good step up from the last leaked version. We're unsure as to what the improvements are, if any, but it should be worth loading up if you have time.
