Yes, the moment many, many 9700 users have been waiting for is here. OS 6.0.0.344 has dropped for all of you to try today. This build should actually be a pretty decent build for your 9700.

if you really dont know how to do that, maybe you should wait a short while longer 'till a carrier approved release is available.
Solution to anyone having problem with your device not loading the theme correctly. We I first loaded 6.0 the home screen was all white icons didn't work scrolling didn't work well. but I figured out the problem, From your PC go into the blackberry.alx file and scroll down till you find the themes that are loaded by carrier change the vendor ID to something different that what your device is. I have tmo so my vendor ID is 100 so I change it to 102 so it would not load the t-mobile theme. This solved my issues and now I am loving blackberry 6
I installed a few hours ago, and is working great, cero complication, the desktop software made a backup then automatically restore it all the stuff that I had. At last!!!! I like it.!!! :D

It really works: it´s been 24 hours since I installed it replacing my Claro/Brazil OS 5, and everything seems to be working fine: it backups and restored all my files, applications, contacts, etc. The radio is working perfectly, the webbrowsing is awesome, the sync works... really a much better OS!!! Thanks for all of you that made it possible
Just installed it but big problem. Can't text anyone... whenever i text someone the message remains in pending, the little clock-like box.. no delivery nothing. All my settings are up to date regarding the message centre... anyone similar ???

Installed - but has a 602 Error. Occasionally happens. When you use quick search facility, type in something in the homescreen and press green dial key - gives 602 error and reset icon displayed (white background) press reset. When it reloads blackberry (bold 9700 i have), then give it a moment and then it works fine. - maybe some memory issue...
Does anyone expierience non-functioning convenience keys? I do... also I don't get to snooze calendar reminders, besides that, it works ok here...
very superb performance.. everything is nice,fresh-look and speedy.. it just the memory has been deducted about 20-30mb.. but thats fine with me.. everyone with bold 9700 sholud have try this os 6..

I have battery problems, with os5 I had 3days of battery life. Now just 12 hours. anyone has that problem as well?
In the upper right corner my blackberry keeps sending/receiving information but i have no idea why. Anyway to solve this??
Put it on a UK vodafone 9700 and it is superb... not noticed any bugs yet... all my data reinstalled. Browsed the internet, works great. Have Telmap 5 sat nav running and it seems to run faster now... Don't have lots of other apps so can't comment on those. Everything is a little enlarged on screen - getting used to that but all in all a fantastic upgrade. Think its even cured the phone randomly freezing for a few seconds too!
