Work-Around to Get Google Buzz on Blackberry Devices

Google Buzz is the newest product from Google which allows the users of Gmail to connect with Twitter, Picasa, Flickr and Google Reader. It also allows people to post status like messages that other buzz users can see. When it was released for computers, it was also released to Apple iPhone, and Google Android users, but not Blackberry users.

After many fans were about to lose trust in Google, the people over at Blackberrycool.com found a way to use Google Buzz on Blackberry Devices. According to Blackberrycool, both Opera Mini (They tested it on v5 beta 2) and Bolt can handle the javascript correctly. Here are the steps...

  1. Navigate to https://m.google.com/app/buzz
  2. Click on 'Continue on an unsupported device'
  3. Click on 'Menu' in upper left corner.
  4. Login using normal Google credentials.
Now, the location features will not work until Blackberry devices get a devoted app, but everything else will work normal.
