BlackBerry Bold 9780 Dummy Units Hit Rogers Stores

Just the other day, Research In Motion officially announced the BlackBerry Bold 9780. A few carriers (Telus, T-Mobile, and Rogers) also announced they would be carrying the device. Now Rogers stores have started to receive their Bold 9780 dummy units.

There really is much information available on the release date. However, the BlackBerry Bold 9780 should be priced at $149.99 on a 3-yr contract or $599.99 without a contract.

The BlackBerry Bold 9780 is a refresh of the Bold 9700. The 9780 will run OS 6.0, have 512MB RAM, and a 5MP camera. How many of you on Rogers intend on getting the 9780?

Hold on I have one of those -- or perhaps the one I have doesn't have enough memory, the camera is poor and the OS is out-of-date

Actually no. Those screen images are glued tightly in there and the big difference between the 9700 and 9780 is OS6. RIM know's what theyre doing.
