If you have ever used a Powermat for either your BlackBerry or iPhone you'll know that it isn't truly a 'drop and charge' without having to use a special case, etc. If things go well, this may all change by 2011.

Research In Motion has released their newest bluetooth headset, the HS-300. It is a bit smaller and lacks the leather siding compared to the HS-700. Nevertheless, for the price and optimal compatibility with your BlackBerry, the HS-300 should still be a winner.

It has been a while since we last saw a leaked OS for the BlackBerry Pearl 3G 9100 and 9105. Now there is OS 5.0.0.921 that has leaked, which is a fairly decent step up from OS 5.0.0.884, but still isn't OS 6. Nevertheless, we imagine it shouldn't be too much longer until we see the Pearl rocking OS 6.

If you're excited about the BlackBerry Bold 9780 refresh, you'll be delighted to know that it is pegged to release on Virgin Mobile in Canada. It is supposed to release on October 21st, which we could also see as the launch date for Telus, Bell, and even Rogers.

The Bolt team have been diligently working on their Bolt Browser for BlackBerry in the last year. They have now released v2.3, which includes HMTL 5 support for audio and video and also better Facebook integration.

It isn't quite OS6, yet, but Bold 9700 users now have another new OS5 build to play with. It is a fairly nice step up from the last leaked build (.938). If you've got time you may want to check out OS 5.0.0.979 while you wait for OS6!
