BBM 5.0 Officially Released!

Yay! Yay! Yay! We can't tell you how happy we are that Blackberry Messenger 5.0 has been officially released. It was rumored to be releasing today and with the long wait it's arrived in Blackberry App World.

There was some concern that BBM 5.0 would not work on devices running a leaked OS 5.0 version. We can confirm that BBM 5.0 works beautifully on OS 5.0.0.230 for a Blackberry Storm. We've also noticed a few cosmetic changes to the new BBM 5.0 in comparison to the leaked version. Here's a minor example:
