It seems as though more and more carriers throughout the world are starting to add BlackBerry devices to the list of pay-as-you-go plans. The next carrier in line is Vodafone UK, which currently has pay-as-you-go plans as 'Coming soon'.
We've been told the pay-as-you-go BlackBerrys should become available some time in October. It has been known to be in the works since June, but the release has continually been pushed back.
The devices available on Vodafone UK pay-as-you-go will be the Curve 9300 in red and graphite, Pearl 3G 9105, and Curve 8520. For more info, http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/shop/coming-soon/mobile-phones

there are some pay-as-you-go berrys in Vodafone Spain since last spring
Also in the Netherlands Vodafone sales the Curve 8520 in Pre-paid
